I've been working on dating some old family photographs/portraits, which has led me to get back into genealogy a bit. I've recently completed another drawing of an Indian - this time Flying Hawk, an Ogalala Sioux brave. I've also been completing some watercolor paintings. When I finally complete one I feel is worthy enough for prints, I'll put them online. I really want to get my technique down and then complete one of an Indian or landscape with Indians on it. In the meantime, I'm beginning another drawing.

CHEYENNE GIRL IN HEADRESS
This pencil drawing of a Cheyenne girl in headress was from an old photo I found online. I have recently started trying to trace down my American Indian ancestry (which is hard for those of you who know). My 3rd great-grandmother was full-blood Cherokee. I recently attended a Cherokee pow-wow and became really determined with my search for my Cherokee history. As a result, as usual, my outside interests play a part of my artwork. 18X24 prints are $55.00, rolled and mailed in a hard tube. Prints are numbered 6 - 100, first edition.
